Salem Ridge Rabbitry

Hello and welcome to Salem Ridge Rabbitry, located in the small, rural community of Salem, CT.  My name is Jen, and I got my start in rabbits more than 20 years ago as a young teenager in a local 4-H club.  I never forgot the enjoyment I got from my first rabbits, and I decided to renew that excitement and share the enjoyment with my own children.  

I raise my Holland Lops first and foremost as pets, but I would like to strive for show quality as well.  All babies are handheld often from birth.  I show my rabbits as my busy schedule allows.  I love the different colors, and prefer to have a variety in my rabbitry.  Because my rabbitry is small in size and a hobby (in addition to working and raising a family), I'm forced to be very selective in which rabbits I keep.  

Lastly, you may notice some of my rabbit friends have rather unusual names, that's because I usually allow my children to name them whatever they desire!

Visitors are welcome at my rabbitry, but please contact me by email if you would like to visit.  Visits are limited due to a busy family schedule.  If you have any questions,  email me and I will respond as soon as possible.
